Compact, fully automatic three-module line for wrapping small rigid boxes (set-up boxes), built by Crathern & Smith (USA) and offered from a rigid box packaging plant in Śrem, Poland. The set consists of the MINI DD wrapper, the EQ positioning module and the Stokesfeed DF automatic board feeder.

Small formats are where standard wrappers struggle: below roughly 100 mm the paper margins are short, corners tend to crease and the wrap is hard to keep square. The MINI DD / EQ combination was designed for exactly this range, with a compact footprint that fits into a small converting department.

How the Line Works

• Board feeding: the Stokesfeed DF magazine feeds small board blanks automatically into the cycle.
• Positioning: the EQ module aligns the shell and the glued wrap before the wrapping stroke.
• Wrapping: the DD wrapper folds the paper margins inside on all four sides and presses the finished box, keeping tight corners without creasing.

Condition and Documentation

The line is complete and comes from a plant that is replacing its rigid box equipment, which is why it is offered well below its current market value. Serial numbers of all three modules are confirmed by the seller and listed above. Photo documentation of the machine is being prepared – detailed photos and a video are available on request before any purchase decision.

Maximum and minimum formats are quoted from the manufacturer data and should be confirmed on site with the customer's own cutting die.
