Tech-Lak Automatic Spray Coating Line for Piston Coating
Complete automatic spray coating line built by Tech-Lak, designed for spray application of Teflon (PTFE) coatings on pistons. The line handles 68 pistons in process (2 pistons per hanger, 34 hangers) with a cycle time of 30 s plus drying, depending on the application. Control is based on a Siemens Simatic S7-1500 PLC, and the spray process uses a Ransburg 9060 HV1 electrostatic system. The installation is currently not in use and is offered as a complete line, located in Poland.
