Colombo was founded in 1920 in Italy. The company specializes in high-frequency electrospindles and motorized tool holders for industrial applications. Its main product lines include liquid-cooled and air-cooled electrospindles, two-axis heads, and fixed tool holders for machining centers.

Colombo serves the woodworking, stone, glass, aluminum, and composite materials industries. Its most popular series are the RC (liquid-cooled electrospindles for heavy-duty routing), RA (air-cooled electrospindles for standard woodworking), and TC (two-axis heads for 5-axis machining). The RV series for glass and stone processing is also widely adopted. Colombo electrospindles are integrated into CNC machining centers from major European and Asian machine tool manufacturers.
